This policy explains what data thepuzzleden.com ("The Puzzle Den", "we") collects when you use the site, and how it is used. The short version: we run free browser games, we do not ask for accounts, and we collect as little as possible.
Game data stays on your device
Your puzzle progress, statistics, and streaks are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser data will reset your stats.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, approximate region, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. IP anonymization is enabled where applicable. You can opt out with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
The Puzzle Den may display advertising served by Google AdSense in the future. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can manage ad personalization atGoogle Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data atpolicies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Users in the EEA/UK will be shown a consent message before any personalized ads are served.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for the games themselves. Analytics and (future) advertising may set cookies as described above. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time; the games will keep working.
Children's privacy
The Puzzle Den is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The site has no accounts, chat, or forms that request personal details.
